Know before you go
- Check the day for Windsor. Windsor Castle runs general admission Thursday to Monday. On most Tuesdays and Wednesdays the guide tours the town of Windsor instead, and the operator names four summer Tuesdays when entry is back on.
- Salisbury is a stop, not a visit. Thirty minutes, and entry to the cathedral is not in the fare.
- Two hold cases and one carry-on each. Anything more will not fit in the vehicle and becomes yours to move separately.
- Mobility aids need advance notice. Wheelchairs and walkers must fold into the hold and count as one of your hold items.
- It is a long day. Nine and a half hours, and reviewers who arrived in central London at rush hour describe the last leg as the slow one.
